You place a powerful curse on a creature you touch, afflicting both them and their bloodline. The target must make a Constitution saving throw with disadvantage. On a failed save, they are afflicted with an Ancestral Blood Curse of your design.
The curse must follow these guidelines:
It cannot directly cause damage or death
It manifests as a specific condition (such as hair turning white, skin becoming translucent, or blood visibly moving beneath the skin)
It imposes a specific penalty (such as vulnerability to a damage type, inability to tell lies, or disadvantage on specific checks)
It may include a specific trigger condition (such as “activates during a full moon” or “manifests when experiencing strong emotions”) The curse affects the target and all of their direct descendants for three generations. The curse can be ended with a remove curse spell cast using a 9th-level spell slot, or a wish spell.
Blood Sacrifice. When casting this spell, you take 6d4 damage as your blood establishes the generational curse.
