You and a conclave of spellcasters, numbering at least three creatures, pool your magic to create an intense storm cloud over the battlefield that rains acid capable of burning through skin and bone.
Each caster must use their action to expend a number of spell slots until a total of at least 10 spells slots have been spent. The spell is triggered when the last caster uses an action to expend spell slots toward the Battle Magic spell. Each spellcaster must be within 50 feet of another spellcaster that is contributing toward the spell when the spell is triggered.
Target: 3 units (If a targeted unit is engaged, the engaged unit is also targeted by the spell. )

On the following rounds, each spell caster can choose to expend spell slots to continue the Acid Rain storm. To do so, they must use their bonus action and an additional 3 spell slots must be expended between the spell casters. Once the last spell slot has been contributed, make the Attack and Power checks as if casting the spell for the first time.
The spell has disadvantage on the Power checks if cast against a unit that is composed of creatures resistant to acid and fails against units immune to acid.
[Battle Magic: If the Attack check succeeds make 2 power checks. If the Attack check fails, only 1 power check is made. Each successful Power check diminishes a units casualty die by 1.
Battle Magic spells can only be learned by studying a thesis on magical warfare and each Battle Magic spell can only be used once per battle.]
