Effect: You open your mind to the Void, briefly glimpsing beyond the boundaries of space and time. For the duration, you can see into the ethereal and shadowy planes, including detecting invisible creatures and objects, seeing through magical darkness, and discerning hidden truths. You gain the following benefits:

• True Sight: You can see things as they actually are, gaining true sight within a 60-foot radius. This includes seeing through illusions, magical darkness, and seeing invisible creatures or objects.

• Knowledge of the Void: Once during the duration, you can ask a question about a creature, object, or event that is within your line of sight. The Void offers its knowledge, revealing a cryptic, often unsettling, truth related to the question. The answer is always accurate but may not be complete or easy to understand.

• Echo of the Void: You can sense the presence of any creature within 60 feet that is hiding, invisible, or otherwise obscured from your senses. The presence is revealed, though the specific details remain hidden.

The Void’s answer may come in riddles or unsettling fragments of memories, and those who look too deeply may begin to feel its pull, resulting in feelings of dread or madness. Those who fail to interpret the Void’s answers may be cursed, suffering disadvantage on Wisdom saving throws for the duration.

At Higher Levels: When you cast this spell using a spell slot of 7th level or higher, the duration increases by 1 hour for each slot level above 6th.
