You unleash a soul-shattering, necromantic scream as you drop to your knees, pouring every ounce of your remaining strength into a cataclysmic release of deathly energy.

  • The verbal component is your piercing scream, and the somatic component is the act of falling to your knees.

  • This overwhelming blast targets every creature within a 30-foot radius — friend or foe — except those specifically exempt.

  • Any creature with 100 hit points or less is instantly reduced to ash, leaving no trace of body or soul. Such creatures cannot be resurrected except by the mightiest magics (wish or divine intervention).

  • Creatures with more than 100 hit points must make a DC 18 Constitution saving throw. On a failed save, they take 30d8 necrotic damage and fall unconscious. On a successful save, they take half damage and remain conscious.

  • Unconsciousness:
The target falls into a deep, unnatural sleep lasting 24 hours, during which they are fully unconscious and unaware of their surroundings.

While unconscious, the target suffers the sickened condition (disadvantage on attack rolls and ability checks) due to overwhelming necrotic residue poisoning their body and soul.

Healing spells and effects restore only half as many hit points to the target while this effect lasts.

After 24 hours, the target awakens naturally unless awoken earlier by magical means such as Lesser Restoration or similarly powerful healing.

    After Awakening:
For the next 1 week, the target suffers 1d4 necrotic damage every hour and takes a –3 penalty to all rolls.

This effect continues until the necrotic residue fully dissipates, after which the target returns to normal.

  • You yourself must have fewer than 50 hit points to cast this desperate, devastating spell. If you fail your own saving throw against it, you also fall unconscious, you have dissadvantage on this and you do take 4d12 damage by casting this.
