Two creatures of your choice that you can see within range is linked to you by an arcane tether. A creature connected by this tether regains 2d8 hit points when it’s first affected by it and while tethered, you can affect the creatures in the following ways:
Vitality Boost. As a bonus action you can send a surge of healing magic through the tether and cause one target to regain 1d8 hit points.
Shared Vitality. When you receive healing from any source, you can use your reaction to halve the healing and give the tethered creatures the same amount of healing you received.
Shared Suffering. When one of the tethered creatures takes damage, you can use your reaction to take half of that damage for the creature.
You can use a bonus action to transfer the tether from one target to another.
At higher levels. When you cast this spell using a spell slot of 3rd level or higher, the initial healing and the healing of vitality boost are increased by 1d8. At level 5, you can target one additional creature and another at 7th level and 9th level.
