You command a small twig to grow and stretch, forming twisted roots and coiling upon itself to form a light rotten Staff.
The summoned staff is a versatile magical weapon with which you are proficient. On a hit, it deals 1d6/1d8 bludgeoning damage plus your spellcasting ability modifier. The staff may also serve as a druidic focus, and while wielding it you can cast the thorn whip cantrip without it counting as your known cantrips.
Appendix Upgrade:
Using your own vitality to cast this spell will charge it even more with magical energy. While wielding the staff youll receive advantage on Constitution saving throws to maintain concentration on spells.
Upcasting this spell with any spell slot above the 1st will make the weapon a +1 magical weapon that'll last until dispelled.
