You create up to four torch-sized lights within range, making them appear as torches, lanterns, or glowing orbs that hover in the air for the duration. You can also combine the four lights into one glowing vaguely humanoid form of Medium size. Whichever form you choose, each light sheds dim light in a 10-foot radius. Each orb's point of origin cannot extend beyond 30 ft from the caster so that's it's reach does not go beyond the radius (40 ft total) of the Light cantrip. Completely covering the lights with something opaque blocks the light. The spell ends if you cast it again or dismiss it as an action. A light must be within 20 feet of another light created by this spell, and a light winks out if it exceeds the spell's range.
Without the caster's instructions, the lights default to a medium size humanoid who hovers beside the caster at 5 to 10 ft. It is said that the spirit of Cea resides in the crystal, watching over the caster. Her past is not yet fully known... The "player" can also describe the interaction of how the lights might act.
As a bonus action on your turn, you can move the lights out to 60 feet to a new spot within range and back to the caster to "scout" the area. Upon relaying the information of what dim light sees within line of sight, the lights wink out. Alternatively, the "distract" bonus action allows the lights to move up to a range of 60 ft per turn up to a radius of 120 ft. After 1 minute the lights wink out. It's dim light effect stacks with darkvsion to create bright light. Once the bonus action has been used, the spell cannot be cast again unless the caster has the required levels for additional castings. A caster who has expended all uses per day cannot recast the spell until after a long rest.
