Body Guard

This spell defends a willing creature who carries your imbued token, creating a mystic connection between you. While the target remains within 60 feet of you, any damage it takes is halved. The other half (rounded up) is transferred to you. Whenever you take damage through this bond, you roll 1d6 and reduce that amount from the damage you suffer. The target does not gain this resistance. Each bonded target grants you its own separate resistance roll.

The spell ends for all creatures under its effect if: You drop to 0 hit points, the imbued tokens are separated by more than 60 feet, a target has been hit by attacks three times, you finish a long rest, or you dismiss the spell as an action. You may cast this spell on multiple different targets, expending a spell slot for each. You cannot cast it on the same target more than once before completing a long rest.

At higher levels when you cast this spell using a character level of 3 or higher, the damage reduction is switched to 2d4 and then increased by +1d4 for character level every 6 levels. (9th CL is 3d4, 15th CL is 4d4, 21st CL is 5d4 etc.)
