You conjure a beam of light and fire in your hand, and throw it at a creature within range. Make a spell attack roll against the target. On a hit, it takes 2d6 fire damage and 2d8 radiant damage and has the blinded condition until the start of your next turn. The beam also causes a brief flash of sunlight emanating from the target on a hit. Until the end of the target's next turn, it emits bright light for 30 feet and dim light for an additional 30 feet; this light is considered sunlight.
While in broad daylight, the spell deals an additional 1d6 fire damage and 1d8 radiant damage, and the blindness lasts for 1 minute, the creature making a constitution saving throw at the start of each of its turns, ending the effect on a success.
At higher levels. For each spell slot level above the third, the damage on a hit increases by 1d6 fire and 1d8 radiant.
