You look through the shard of glass at something in front of you, a chest, a painting, a door, a landscape- and through the glass you are able to detect exactly what it is you're looking at, as well as any secret or hidden properties. The chest is a mimic, the painting a trapdoor, the door you find is inflammable, the landscape has a hoarder's pile of gold within the river.
However, there is an equal chance your perception is altered and you perceive it as something else entirely for the duration of the spell. The chest? As far as you're aware that's a dragon egg. Painting? Nope, window Door? Solid wall. Landscape? You're 99% sure you're indoors.
To determine which side the effect takes, roll 1d100 upon casting, any roll lower than 50 will give you a flawed view, any value higher will cause the desired effect.
