A vertical wall of paper springs into existence at a point you choose within range. The wall consists of four contiguous panels, each 10 feet wide and 10 feet high. If the ceiling is lower than 10 feet, the panel is cut short. Each panel must touch at least one other panel. If the wall passes through an object or creature’s space, that section crumples, leaving a hole the size of the object or creature.

Each panel can be any color or design you choose, including mimicking a wall you can see. The wall is opaque: it blocks line of sight but not movement, objects, or effects, and it does not count as cover. A creature attacking an unseen target on the other side of the wall has Disadvantage.

Fragility. A creature can breach a panel by moving through it or dealing damage to it. Each panel has AC 5 and 1 Hit Point. Any damage that reduces the panel to 0 Hit Points destroys it.

Inspection. Physical interaction reveals the wall to be made of paper. A creature using its action to examine the wall from a distance can determine it is flimsy with a successful Intelligence (Investigation) check against your spell save DC. If there is wind, the check is made with Advantage. A strong wind (20+ mph) shreds a panel in 1d4 rounds.

Flammability. The wall is flammable. Fire spreads from panel to panel, and a burning panel is destroyed in 1 round. A creature in the space of a burning panel takes 1 Fire damage.

Using a Higher-Level Spell Slot. You can create two additional 10-foot by 10-foot panels for each slot level above 1. If you maintain concentration for the spell’s full duration using a level 3+ spell slot, the wall becomes permanent until dispelled.
