Beckon Item

You summon an item to your hand. Choose one object you have previously held that meets the following criteria: it must weigh 5 pounds or less, measure no more than 6 feet on its longest side, and either be nonmagical or a magic item to which you are attuned. The item must be within 30 miles.

The item speeds toward you, covering up to 30 miles per minute. If unobstructed, it arrives instantly if within 1 mile, otherwise reaching you in moments. You may catch it in your hand or have it land gently at your feet.

If the item’s path is blocked, it attempts to navigate around obstacles. If it cannot, it stops moving, gently drops to the ground, and you receive a mental ping of its location. Once the obstruction is removed, it resumes movement. If blocked for 10 minutes, the spell ends and the item remains where it stopped.

If another creature is holding, wearing, carrying, or enclosing the item in an extradimensional space (such as a Bag of Holding), the spell fails.

Dual Concentration. You can concentrate on this spell and on another spell or effect, but if you lose your Concentration, you lose both effects.

Using a Higher-Level Spell Slot. When you cast this spell using a level 5+ spell slot, you may summon any Small or smaller magic item (other than a Legendary item or Artifact) weighing up to 10 pounds, and the range increases to 100 miles. When cast with a level 9 slot, the range increases to anywhere on the same plane, and the duration increases to 8 hours, no Concentration required. 

Additional Notes

A Nondetection spell cast on an object prevents it from being targeted by this spell. Arcane Concealment (a 3rd-level Abjuration ritual) can make an object immune to being summoned by anyone other than its designated owner. This ritual requires 100 gp worth of materials and is commonly used to protect valuables.

Remember than attunement to a magic item ends if the item has been more than 100 feet away for at least 24 hours (Player's Handbook, chapter 6, Equipment).
