Chant

You begin a chant that effects up to five creatures of your choice within range. For each creature you target, choose the chant's effect from the following options:

• Aid. Whenever the target makes an attack roll or a saving throw before the spell ends, the target can roll a d4 and add the number rolled to the attack roll or saving throw.
• Hinder. The target must make Charisma saving throws. Whenever a target that fails this saving throw makes an attack roll or a saving throw before the spell ends, the target must roll a d4 and subtract the number rolled from the attack roll or saving throw.

At Higher Levels. When you cast this spell using a spell slot of 4th level or higher, you can target one additional creature to either aid or hinder for each slot level above 3rd.
