You tear your own lifeblood into crimson threads that lash out to ensnare a foe. The threads twist into barbed shackles, wrapping around the creature’s body and soul.
Choose one creature you can see within range. The target must succeed on a Strength saving throw or be restrained by blood bindings for the duration. While restrained, the creature takes 1d6 necrotic damage at the start of each of its turns as the bindings cut deeper.
At the start of each of your turns while maintaining this spell, you take damage equal to your proficiency bonus as the bindings drain your vitality to hold fast.
A restrained creature can use its action to make another Strength saving throw, ending the effect on a success.
