You call upon the divine power of your patron to transport yourself across the planes, carrying with you an urgent message. When you cast this spell, you may designate one creature who worships your deity (or serves a similar celestial power) as the intended recipient of your message.
-
Destination. You are transported to either:
-
A celestial plane aligned with your patron, or
-
A world or location where worshippers of your patron can be found.
-
If you’ve previously visited the chosen plane or world, you arrive at the exact location you last occupied there. If you have never visited before, you instead appear in a safe space within 1d100 miles of your intended recipient.
-
Delivery. Upon arrival, you may speak a message of up to 50 words directly to your intended recipient, regardless of language. The recipient understands your words and recognizes you as a divine messenger of your patron.
Failure. If you cast this spell in a place strongly opposed to your patron’s influence (such as an unholy site or on a lower plane), the magic may falter. Roll a d6. On a 1, you are instead transported to a random plane determined by the DM (potentially hostile).
* - (a feather from a celestial being, which the spell consumes)
