Triggered mid-fall, Selena sings a brief, soaring note that echoes like an owl’s cry. Her Belt Buckle of the Owl glows faintly, and she descends slowly, landing with grace and poise. This spell functions as Feather Fall, but with added flair: she may land on a vertical surface and immediately activate her Boots of Wall Running, allowing her to rebound into movement or combat.
If cast during a performance, the descent is accompanied by a swirl of feathers and a spotlight effect (minor illusion optional).
Feathered fall, no fear tonight,
Owl’s wings catch me mid-flight.

Posted Jul 23, 2026I like your flavor texts, GuyJann, but this is a worse version of Feather Fall, as it does not explicitly mention that it affects up to 5 creatures in range. The "Immediately activates her Boots of Wall Running" makes me think you wanted to say "In the same action, she may [...]". This should be explicitly said to avoid misinterpretations. And the added part is extremely circumstantial. Beyond that, the character could yet use her movement, her action, and her bonus action. She would not need a spell to do this. And normally, items such as these give you a passive climbing speed, which does not require to be activated through an action or bonus action.
