The caster extends one hand into the sky and a forms a 2.5 ft diameter halo of light around it, as an action, you can throw this halo 20 ft in straight line dealing 5d6 radiant damage to any target in the line that fails a DEX saving throw against the caster spell save DC, on a successful save they take no damage.

At the end of the spell's range (20ft), the halo stops in mid-air and return to the caster at the beginning of their next turn, this can hit and deal damage the same way as explained above. When the halo returns the caster can try to catch it by making a DEX (sleight of hand) saving throw against his own spell save DC, if succeeded the caster can use his action to throw the halo again repeating the process until either the spell runs out of time or the caster fails to catch the halo.

The caster can also use this as a one handed melee weapon. While held, you can use the attack action to make two melee attacks using their spell attack bonus against the enemy's AC. On hit, deal 3d6 radiant damage.

Depending on the class casting the spell ( in case of multiclass you take the class with more levels in it or the class you leveled up first) the spell varies slightly.

If the caster is a cleric the halo irradiates dim light in a 20 ft radius.

If the caster is a paladin the halo counts as a +1 shield while being held.

If the caster is a wizard the spell deals lighting damage instead and reduces magic damage taken by 3 from all sources while held.

If the caster is a bard the spell deals thunder damage instead additionally will make the victims of this spell deaf for 1 minute if hit with a critical.

If the caster is a warlock the spell deals necrotic damage instead and prevents the victim of this spell to regain hitpoints for 1d10 rounds on a crit.

If the spell was cast by other means ( like a spell storing ring) it deals slashing damage and has no other bonuses.
