Spectral chains of shimmering lunar light appear and launch themselves at a creature within range. Choose one creature whose size is no larger than your own. The target must succeed on a Wisdom saving throw or be restrained by the chains for the duration.
While a creature is restrained in this way, you can use your action to force any creatures affected by this spell to move up to their normal speed in a direction of your choice. For every 5 feet a creature is forced to move, it takes 1d8 radiant damage.
If the target leaves the spell’s range, the spell ends. A restrained target can repeat the Wisdom saving throw at the end of each of its turns, ending the effect on itself on a success.
At Higher Levels. When you cast this spell using a spell slot of 5th level or higher, you can force the creature to move an additional 5 feet of movement for each slot level above 4th.
