You spend many grueling hours building and crafting a gnome servant. It uses the Auto-Gnome stat block. When you cast the spell, you provide a gemstone listed in the material components: diamond, ruby, or emerald. The creature is an Auto-Gnome of your design (you determine the appearance) made metal and gear work and contains the gemstone provided in its chest, which determines certain details in its stat block. The creature disappears when it drops to 0 Hit Points, if you cast this spell again, or when the spell ends. If the spell ends the gemstone can be recovered for 50% of it's original value with a successful investigation check against your spell save DC, if you succeed by more than 5, the gemstone retains 75% of its original value, and if you succeed by 10 the gemstone retains 100% of it's original value.
The creature is an ally to you and your allies. In combat, the creature shares your Initiative count, but it takes its turn immediately after yours. It obeys your verbal commands (no action required by you). If you don’t issue any, it takes the Dodge action and uses its movement to avoid danger.
Using a Higher-Level Spell Slot. Use the spell slot’s level for the spell’s level in the stat block.

Traits
Built for Success. The creature can add a d4 to one attack roll, ability check, or saving throw the creature makes, and can do so after seeing the d20 roll but before the effects of the roll are resolved. The can use this trait a number of times equal to your proficiency bonus, and regains all expended uses when it finishes a long rest.
Clockwork Toys (Diamond Only). The creature can cast the mending cantrip. In addition, the creature can spend 10 minutes casting Prestidigitation to create a Tiny clockwork device (AC 5, 1 HP), such as a toy, fire starter, or music box. When the creature creates the device, you determine its function by choosing one effect from Prestidigitation; the device produces that effect whenever you or another creature takes a Bonus Action to activate it with a touch. If the chosen effect has options within it, you choose one of those options for the device when you create it. For example, if you choose the spell’s ignite-extinguish effect, you determine whether the device ignites or extinguishes fire; the device doesn’t do both. The creature can have three such devices in existence at a time, and each falls apart 8 hours after its creation or when you dismantle it with a touch as a Utilize action.
Stony Lethargy (Stone Only). The creature has advantage on stealth checks in rocky terrain.
