You conjure a pulse of flickering black fire — Shadowflame, formed from the blurred edge of life and undeath. You may erupt this flame from your own feet or hurl it outward like a smoldering spear of voidlight, causing it to burst at a point of your choosing.
Effect Choose a point within 30 feet. All creatures within a 15-foot radius of that point are affected: Enemies Must make a Dexterity saving throw. On a failure, take 1d6 necrotic + 1d6 Shadowfire damage. On success, take half damage. If the creature has both necrotic and fire resistance, this effect ignores both. Allies All non-hostile creatures in the radius (excluding yourself) regain 2d6 + your Charisma modifier HP.
Scaling by Caster Level Level 7: Damage increases to 2d6 necrotic + 2d6 fire Healing increases to 3d6 + CHA Level 9: Damage increases to 3d6 necrotic + 3d6 fire Healing increases to 4d6 + CHA Level 11: Damage increases to 4d6 necrotic + 4d6 fire Healing increases to 5d6 + CHA
Shadow Magic Synergy If you are a Shadow Magic Sorcerer, you may spend 1 sorcery point when casting Shadowflame Pulse to enhance its effect in one of the following ways
(1/long rest): Split Pulse: Cast Shadowflame Pulse twice at two different points (resolve separately).
Consuming Bloom: Enemies in dim light or darkness roll their saves at disadvantage.
Lingering Flame: Allies affected by the healing gain resistance to necrotic and fire damage until the start of your next turn.
