For the Spell's duration, or until you use an action to dismiss the spell, you can use an action to make a melee spell attack against a creature within your reach with the Scythe Blade. On a hit, a creature takes 1d10 slashing plus 1d10 Necrotic damage. In addition, a struck target cannot regain hit points until the end of their next turn.

At higher levels: When you cast this spell using a spell slot of 4th or higher, the necrotic damage increases by 1d10 for every slot above 3rd.
