You transform one non-magical, non-living object (no larger than a 5-foot cube) within range into cheddar cheese. The type of cheddar is random (roll a d6):
-
Mild
-
Sharp
-
Extra Sharp
-
Smoked
-
Spicy Ghost Pepper
-
Sentient (see below)
The object retains its general shape and mass but is now entirely composed of cheese. Weapons become disturbingly edible. Doors are now cheese doors. Armor? Cheeseplate. You get the idea.
Creatures standing within 10 ft interacting of the cheddarized object must make a DC 14 Wisdom saving throw or be compelled to use their turn to move towards it and to take a bite (if they can), losing their action due to confusion and hunger.
Special Result - Sentient Cheddar (6 on d6):
The cheese object becomes slightly alive, with an Intelligence of 6, the ability to speak Common, and a deep desire to spread itself on crackers. It can move at a speed of 5 feet per round by slowly scooting. The GM determines its personality and goals.
At Higher Levels.
When you cast this spell using a spell slot of 4th level or higher, you may cheddarize one additional object per spell level above 2nd.
* - (A cube of aged cheese and a tiny grater.)

Posted Oct 21, 2025Hi. I posted this and forgot to mention that I didn't come up with this. An AI did, so don't blame me. Enjoy.
