Bone Blast

A bone of comical proportions is hurled at a target within range. Make a ranged spell attack against the target. On a hit, the target takes 4d6 bludgeoning damage. If a creature is reduced to 0 hp and killed by this spell, its bones explode, destroying the body of the creature. Creatures within 5ft of the target must make a dexterity saving throw, taking 2d6 piercing damage on a failed save, or half as much on a successful one.

The secondary effect does not trigger if the target is inorganic, or does not have a skeletal structure.
