You inscribe up to 10 sheets of paper with a magical binding, and are marked as a recipient. You can also have the sender present and inscribe them as a sender, or leave the sender blank and allow some other creature to inscribe themselves as sender when they desire.
Once both recipient and sender are inscribed, the paper can be filled with a message of up to 1000 words. The sender can then toss the paper into the air, where it will travel high into the sky and vanish. It reaches the recipient in 1-14 days, depending on distance and chance.
If anything substantial aside from ink is attached to the paper, the paper becomes inert and loses its magic.
