Channeling your mana, you attempt to create a duplicate of any bladed weapon in your sight line. This cannot analyze and reproduce blunt weapons, such as warhammers, projectile-based weaponry, or any form of armor. The target must roll a saving Wisdom throw, and if they succeed, they successfully conceal the lore and history of the weapon they wield. Otherwise, the spellcaster inherits a perfect replica of the targeted weapon that retains all special effects applied to the weapon, and the replica ignores attunement or proficiency requirements, as the spellcaster grasps enough knowledge to wield the weapon effectively. The copied weapon is not connected to the spellcaster, and as such, it can be disarmed and flung like any mundane weapon. However, the copied sword can be dispelled at any time and replaced with another, provided there are open slots. The character level dictates the quality of projections.

From levels 1-6: common and green items can be produced without quality loss. Blue items and above are impossible to grasp.

From levels 7-11: Blue items are produced without quality loss. Purple and above are still impossible to analyze.

From levels 12-15: Purple is producible with a minor quality loss, e.g. a sword that inflicts an extra 1d4 damage deals half that bonus.

Levels 16 and above, Orange items are producible but the caster must pass an Wisdom saving throw higher than the original owner's Wisdom score or otherwise wind up with a broken projection, useless in combat.
