You conjure a fortified mass of living bark, stone-veined roots, and overlapping leaves, forming a 20-foot cube of dense protective growth at a point you can see within range. The Bastion counts as solid, opaque terrain.
Creatures you designate when casting can move freely through the walls of the Bastion. Other creatures treat the walls as solid and cannot pass through them. The Bastion blocks movement, line of sight, and ranged weapon attacks. Spells that require a clear path cannot pass through the walls unless they explicitly ignore physical barriers.
Creatures inside or immediately behind the Bastion gain half cover.
While you maintain concentration, you can use your bonus action on each of your turns to direct the Bastion:
• Reform: Move one 5-foot section of the Bastion to any space adjacent to the structure.
• Thorn Lash: Choose one creature adjacent to the Bastion. The target must succeed on a Dexterity saving throw or take 2d6 piercing damage.
If you cast this spell in an area affected by your Blooming Mind terrain, the Bastion strengthens: allies sheltered inside gain temporary hit points equal to your Intelligence modifier when they first enter the Bastion.
The Bastion is immune to damage but collapses if you lose concentration.
At Higher Levels: When cast using a 6th-level slot or higher, you may create a second 20-foot cube connected to the first.
