Chains of the Fiend

You target a creature that you can see and that is within 60 feet of yourself and attempt to bind them with Fiendish chains made of the material component consumed by the spell. The target must make a strength or dexterity saving throw or be restrained on a failure. On a success the target is not affected by the spell. Creatures that are huge sized or larger cannot be targeted by the spell.

For the duration of the spell, the restrained creature takes 5d4 damage, which varies depending on the type of fiend the material came from: Devil-Fire damage, Demon-Necrotic damage, Yugoloth-Force damage. The damage from this spell cannot kill the restrained creature. Furthermore, the restrained creature cannot lie, but can withhold information.

For each level above third, you may target an additional creature.
