You violently rupture a fragment of your own life force to unleash a terrifying blast of spectral bone and blood.
When you cast this spell, you take 1d6 piercing damage, which cannot be prevented, resisted, or reduced in any way.
Then choose up to 3 creatures within 30 feet that you can see. Each target must make a Dexterity saving throw.
On a failed save, the creature takes 10d20 piercing damage, as a spiral of razor-sharp bone fragments and blood-spikes tears through its body.
On a successful save, the creature takes half as much damage.
If you cast this spell while your Form of Dread feature is active, the spell’s damage counts as necrotic instead of piercing.
Creatures reduced to 0 hit points by this spell explode into a cloud of crimson mist.
