Horrific Echoes

Upon a creature becoming frightened you magically replicate the source of its fear in your mind, prepared to penetrate the target's mind with the new terrible image. Using your action on your next turn you can fill the mind of the feared target with this image, forcing them to make a Wisdom saving throw. On a failed save the target is Paralysed for 1 minute and takes 6d6 psychic damage which is halved on a successful save.

The target is able to end this condition by making the saving throw again at the end of their subsequent turns. On a successful save from this point, the condition ends.

At Higher Levels. When you cast this spell using a spell slot of 5th level or higher, the damage increases by 1d6 for each level above 4th.
