You project your consciousness to a single, living, non-sentient tree that you can see within range. For the duration of the spell, you are temporarily blinded and deafened to your own surroundings.

With the standard casting time of 1 minute (which requires spending your action and maintaining concentration on each turn), you obtain a detailed gaze, and perceive the area around the tree with your own senses as if you were standing at its base, using your own Perception skill if you wish to make a check.

Alternatively, you may cast the spell in just 1 Action, but your senses are indistinct and blurry; you can only reliably detect movement and general shapes. You cannot discern fine details or specific species, only general body plans (e.g., bipedal, quadrupedal, slithering). You can count the number of creatures or moving shapes, but not identify them precisely.

Or, you may "downcast" this spell as a 1st level spell, in which case it functions the same as Arbor Glimpse.

At Higher Levels: When you cast this spell using a spell slot of 2nd level or higher, the range of the spell is increased: 300 feet at 2nd level, 1,500 feet at 3rd level, 1 mile at 4th level.
