A simple spell that shoots either a large blast or multiple smaller blasts of concentrated mana. When you cast this spell, choose one of the following styles:
Focused. A beam of energy forming a line 60 feet long and 5 feet wide blasts out from you toward an enemy of your choice. This attack hits, but you may still roll an attack of the chance of a critical hit. On a hit the target takes 2d8 radiant damage. This attack deals double damage against fiends.
Volley. You create three rays of energy and hurl them at targets within range. You can hurl them at one target or several. Make a ranged spell attack for each ray. On a hit, the target takes 1d4 radiant damage per beam. This attack deals double damage against fiends.
At Higher Levels. When you cast this spell using a spell slot of 2nd level or higher, on the focused style the damage increases by 1d8 for each slot level above 1st. On the volley style, you create one additional ray for each slot level above 1st.
