The target gains +2 bonus to saving throws against that spell.

If the spell requires an attack roll instead, impose disadvantage on the roll.

If the spell misses or the target succeeds on the save, the caster takes 1d4 void damage (max HP reduction) as feedback from the mirror.

The 1d4 scales by an additional d4 every level cast above 1st.
