Avilon's Mind Cleaver

A slash of pure magic bursts from your visualization of the mind, cleaving at the intended target. 

Against Creatures. The target must make a Dexterity saving throw, taking 2d8 slashing damage on a failed save, or half as much on a successful one.

Against Objects. You can attempt to cut through objects, both magical and non-magical:

• Fragile materials (cloth, rope, wood): An automatic success.
• Harder materials (stone, iron): Requires DM discretion based on thickness/durability

At Higher Levels. When you cast this spell using a spell slot of 3rd level or higher, the damage increases by 1d8 for each slot level above 2nd.
