Bloodline Anchor

You weave a powerful ward of teleportation around yourself and your companions, using the resonance of a potent bloodline as a cosmic anchor. To cast this spell, you must have specialized knowledge of Blood Magic, a field of study that explores the metaphysical properties and inherited power found in the blood of certain creatures.

You touch the blood-filled vial and choose up to fifty willing creatures and/or objects (none of which can be worn or carried by an unwilling creature). Each object must be able to fit entirely within a 10-foot cube. The chosen creatures and objects must be within a 100-foot-radius sphere centered on you.

You and the chosen targets are instantly teleported to a sanctuary known and revered by the majority of the bloodline whose blood was used as a material component. This destination must be a place of safety, peace, or ancestral significance, such as an ancestral home, a hidden family temple, a mausoleum, a sacred grove, or the throne room of a friendly monarch of that line.

The spell determines the destination based on the historical significance of the location to the bloodline, not its current condition. The destination may be dangerous, occupied by hostile creatures, or otherwise compromised. Upon arrival, you and your companions appear in the nearest unoccupied spaces to the center of the destination.

When the spell is successfully cast, all creatures of the target bloodline on the same plane of existence as the destination are mentally notified of your arrival and the specific location, regardless of whether they were previously aware of the sanctuary's existence. This notification provides no information about the current state of the sanctuary or the identities of those who arrived.

If the spell is unable to find such a sanctuary, or if the bloodline is too fractured or disparate to have a majority-recognized sanctuary, the spell fails.
