You perform a dark ascension rite using living victims. Choose up to seven humanoids you can touch throughout the ritual. Each target must make a Constitution saving throw. A creature that fails the save is drained to death, reduced to 0 hit points, and cannot be revived by anything short of true resurrection or wish.

For each creature that dies during this ritual, you gain +10 maximum hit points for the next 24 hours. These bonus hit points stack and cannot be removed by dispel magic or antimagic fields.

If a creature succeeds the save, the ritual fails for that creature, and it instead takes [roll]10d6[/roll] necrotic damage, but does not contribute to the hit point increase.

This spell is considered an evil act.
