Backfire

You attempt to inflict the effects of a spell upon the caster. If the caster is casting a spell of 5th level or lower, it's spell is instead cast from the targeted creature, object, or point in space. If it is casting a spell of 6th level or higher, make an ability check using your spellcasting ability. The DC equals 10 + the spell's level. On a success, the creature's spell backfires inflicting the effects, conditions, and damage inflicted by the spell along with the effects, conditions, and damage that are inflicted on the user as a side-effect of casting the spell.

(also if the caster is an inanimate object such as the surface of a glyph of warding the surface takes the effects, conditions, and damage inflicted by the spell)
