As a bonus action, you can utter the magical phrase that you have chosen to teleport your most valuable item, your spell book, into a pocket of multidimensional space. At any time, it can be recalled back to your person by saying the magical phrase. Your spell book exists on all planes of existence at once and is imbued with its magic. While in this space, it is protected and cannot be destroyed. Once returned, a new spell appears in the book equal to the spell slot used to cast it. Roll 1d8 to determine which school of magic the new spell comes from. The caster gets to decide what spell appears in the book from a randomly rolled school.

Posted Dec 5, 2025After having his spellbook stolen on several occasions, Bart decided to cast his spellbook into the multidimensional space where it would exist on all planes and dimensions of existence at the same time. He got the idea from deconstructing a bag of holding and the mirror image spell. This was a burglar-proof idea as it couldn't be stolen on all dimensions at the same time.
A strange side effect of the spell was that when he recalled the spell book, it contained a new addition. Written in his own hand, the new spell was not a school magic he would have chosen for himself, but maybe he would have chosen it if he were from another dimension. He was amazed that the possibility that another Bart from another dimension was able to help him discover the magic of the multiverse by providing him with new knowledge of spells.
He had a new master, this was his multidimensional self, with untold possibilities of all the spells in the multiverse without searching through dusty libraries or dealing with old fools and paying for knowledge with time and labour. No more gatekeepers to forbidden knowledge. Somewhere in another dimension, Bart had already done the work to obtain the spell. Now it was his for the taking.
