During the duration of the spell, you form a telepathic bond with the creature who performed the triggering attack and they feel the sorrow rooted deep within you. You may speak to the other creature as you share your pain. Take 2d6 less from the triggering attack. The creature takes 2d6 Psychic Damage as a result of the shared pain

This spell does 2d6 damage at levels 1-4, 2d8 damage at levels 5-8, 2d10 damage at levels 9-12, 2d12 damage at levels 13-16, and 2d20 damage at levels 17-20
