You shoot a chromatic arcane sigil at a target within range. Make a ranged spell attack. On a hit, roll a d6 to determine the damage type:
| d6 | Damage Type |
| 1 | Fire |
| 2 | Cold |
| 3 | Lightning |
| 4 | Acid |
| 5 | Necrotic |
| 6 | Force |
The target takes 4d10 damage of the rolled type. The target is then marked by a Chromatic Sigil of the rolled damage type until the end of your next turn. This mark does not stack; if a new Chromatic Sigil is applied to a target that is already marked, the old mark vanishes. If the marked target takes damage of the same type as the mark, resulting from a spell of 1st level or higher, the sigil detonates. The target takes an additional 4d10 damage of that type, and the mark ends.
If another Chromatc Sigil hit a target already marked with a Chromatic Sigil, and the sigil rolled damage type is the same as the previous one, both sigil triggers at the same time.
If casted at a higher level, initial and trigger damage is increased by 1d10, for each spell level above 3rd.
