You extend both hands toward the spell’s caster, crossing your index and middle fingers, then draw them apart to shoulder width, visually bracketing the target at the center of your focus. The surrounding air collapses inward on that point, disrupting the forming spell at its source.

The creature casting the spell must make a Constitution saving throw. On a failed save, the spell dissipates with no effect, and the action, Bonus Action, or Reaction used to cast it is wasted. If the spell was cast using a spell slot, the slot is not expended. On a successful save, the spell is cast normally.
