When casting this spell, you utter a word imbued with the power of fire that wraps the opponent with intangible words made of flames that seemingly fuse to their form. The target must succeed on a wisdom saving throw or take 1d8 fire damage, taking an additional 1d6 fire damage the next time it speaks.

Cantrip Upgrade. The damage increases by 1d8 and the effects dice size increases by one when you reach levels 5 (2d8; 1d8), 11 (3d8; 1d10), and 17 (4d8; 1d12).
