Each of these symbols grant the caster an additional +1 to their AC. Each time an attack fails to hit this creature, reduce the number of symbols by one. If the total number of symbols reach zero this spell is dispelled. Reduce the number of symbols by one each time this creature is targeted by a spell with a damaging area of effect, excluding spells that deal psychic damage.
