If you hit the creature with Arcane Blast again before the end of your next turn, it deals additional Force damage equal to your spellcasting ability modifier.

Being within 5 feet of a hostile creature does not impose disadvantage on ranged attack rolls with this spell.

This spell’s damage increases by 1d8 when you reach 5th level (2d8), 11th level (3d8), and 17th level (4d8).
