You touch one willing creature capable of sight, allowing it to set objects or foes ablaze with a glance. Until the spell ends, it may use an action to direct its burning gaze against a single creature or object within 30 feet. Creatures targeted by its burning gaze must succeed on a Constitution saving throw or take 1d6 fire damage and burn for the spell's duration. At the start of each of its turns, a burning creature may attempt a new saving throw, taking an additional 1d6 fire damage on a failed save or extinguishing the fire on a success.
A flammable object targeted by a creature's burning gaze ignites if it isn’t being worn or carried. If a creature or object is already on fire, it suffers no additional effects from being targeted by a creature's burning gaze.
When you cast this spell using a spell slot of 3rd level or higher, the initial damage increases by 1d6 for each slot level above 2nd.
