The caster is able to target one creature whose presence and location is known to the caster. The target takes 1d6 + spell casting modifier damage of a type chosen by the caster from the following list: Acid, Poison, Lightning, Fire, Cold, Thunder, Psychic, Necrotic, Force or Radiant.

In order to cast this spell, the somatic component requires the blade to be slashed in the direction of the target.
