When you cast this spell, your body and remaining magical potential collapse into a catastrophic explosion centered on you.
You immediately drop to 0 hit points and die, bypassing death saving throws. This death cannot be prevented by death ward, relentless endurance, or similar effects.
Arcane Detonation
Each creature of your choice within a 30-foot radius must make a Constitution saving throw.
A creature takes force damage equal to 1d8 for each spell level of every unused spell slot you have remaining, including the 9th-level slot used to cast this spell, or half as much damage on a successful save.
Objects and structures in the area automatically take maximum damage.
Soul Fracture
Each time you cast this spell, your soul risks catastrophic annihilation.
After the spell resolves, roll a d100:
First use: Soul is destroyed on a roll of 01–25
Second use: Soul is destroyed on 01–50
Third use: Soul is destroyed on 01–75
Fourth use: Soul is automatically destroyed
If your soul is destroyed:
You cannot be restored to life by any means, including wish or divine intervention.
Any existing clone becomes inert.
Your soul cannot be contacted, bound, or recalled.
If your soul survives:
You may be restored to life normally (including via clone, true resurrection, or wish), subject to the usual limitations of those spells.
This cumulative chance never resets.
