By casting this cantrip, you gain immediate insight into whether you have previously examined blood from the same creature and discern the timestamp of your last analysis. It's crucial to note that only blood from a single creature can serve as the material component for this spell, as mingled blood yields muddied and incomprehensible information.

At Higher Levels: You may channel additional energy into the spell to extract deeper insights from the blood you analyze. The additional information you can gain is detailed below. Each level of the spell enhancement builds upon the information provided by lower levels, granting increasingly profound revelations:

• 2nd Level: You discern the type(s) of the creature from which the blood originates, such as Monstrosity, Undead, Humanoid, etc.
• 3rd Level: You ascertain whether the blood carries any diseases or poisons. Additionally, you determine if the blood is suitable for transfusion into another creature.
• 4th Level: You discern whether the creature whose blood you used is currently alive.
• 5th Level: You uncover the creature's name, age, and alignment, if applicable. (Note: Creatures with secret names, such as Devils, cannot have their secret names revealed with this spell.)
• 6th Level: You gain insight into whether the creature is on the same plane of existence as you at the time the spell is cast.
• 7th Level: You discern the approximate location of the creature, with a margin of error of one mile.
• 8th Level: You tap into the memories of the creature for the last 12 hours preceding the spilling of its blood.
• 9th Level: You delve even deeper, accessing the memories of the creature for the last 24 hours prior to the blood being spilled, gaining profound insight into its recent experiences and actions.
