Arcane Bolt

A blasting bolt of crackling, raw, arcane energy streaks toward a creature within range. Make a ranged spell attack against the target. On a hit, the target takes 1d10 force damage.

When you reach higher levels the damage increases and changes type: at 3rd level add 1d4 lightning damage, at 6th level 1d10 becomes 2d10, at 9th level 1d4 becomes 1d6 and you can now choose acid, cold, fire, lightning, poison, or thunder for the damage type of the arcane bolt you create, at 12th level 2d10 becomes 3d10, at 15th level 1d6 becomes 1d8, at 18th level 3d10 becomes 4d10, at level 20 1d8 becomes 1d12..
