You clasp your hands on the object required for the casting of the spell, focus, and make a DC 15 wisdom save. On a failure the caster suffers a 1d6 penalty for the duration of the spell. On a success, for the duration you can peerlessly see everything within 1 mile of you. You can cast this spell through solid objects if you are familiar with the terrain and know what is beyond the barrier. This spell is blocked by 1 foot of stone, 1 inch of common metal, a thin sheet of lead, 3 feet of wood, or spells that prevent scrying. The spell doesn't have to follow a straight line and can travel freely around corners or through openings.

Additionally if you use an action to focus you sight, you can gaze up to 8 miles in any one direction after which the spell immediately ends and you gain 1 point of exhaustion.

At Higher Levels. When you cast this spell using a spell slot of 4th level or higher, the range increases by 1/2 mile for each slot level above 3rd, and the far range increases by 2 miles.
