Astral Shield

You create a barrier of shimmering starlight that intercepts an incoming attack. The target gains a +5 bonus to AC against that attack, potentially causing it to miss. If the attack still hits, the target gains resistance to the damage from that attack.

The shield remains until the start of your next turn. While the shield persists, the protected creature sheds dim light in a 5-foot radius.

At Higher Levels: When you cast this spell using a spell slot of 3rd level or higher, you can target one additional creature for each slot level above 2nd.
